The way in which the new defined value Delta-Q can play a role in the spectral reclassification of Be stars is shown by means of an investigation of 56 Be stars. A general survey carried out in order to obtain spectral subclasses or U, B, V values for these stars is presented. The suggested Delta-Q method was found to be very helpful in choosing the correct spectral subclass from among many subclasses assigned for the same star, and hence, the reclassification for this star.
