A very deep image at R = 27 has been obtained of the radio galaxy 3C 255
at z = 1.355. The source appears to be in a very compact apparent group
of relatively bright galaxies with R = 22.5-24, but is not at the center
of the an obvious density excess relative to the total field for objects
fainter than R = 24.
