Continued search by CFHT-COVET (ATEL 1487, ATEL 1519) reveals another optical transient on UT 2008 May 13.366 : Name | RA(J2000) | Dec(J2000) | Mag (r') | Offset from host | COVET-080513A | 12h42m21.09s | 11d59m49.5s | 21.3 | 0.6"W, 0.5"N | The offset from the barred spiral host suggests this is a supernova candidate. This transient was also detected on May 10 at r'=20.8.
