A diagram of m2 vs B2-V1 is used to segregate weak-lined F-type stars in Geneva photometric studies and to compare the corresponding metal abundances to those derived with the Stromgren system. The reference sequence of the m2 vs B2-V1 diagram is revised with a novel delta-m2 calibration in terms of Fe/H. The systems are found to perform similarly in both detecting the weak-lined F-types and in determining the iron abundances.
