A unified treatment of late-type and early-type contact binaries based on the assumption of hydrostatic equilibrium is extended here and applied to late-type systems assuming systems in a steady state with minimized mass motions. A survey of configurations with M/M(solar) = 2 or greater is presented, and the observational facts are shown to agree with the theory.
