Recent measurements of stopping powers at low energies (keV range) have shown a threshold effect in certain ion-target combinations. To test these results we are building up a time-of-flight experiment consisting of a deflection unit, gastarget and MCP-detector on a precision sledge at CSM's 180 kV accelerator. This poster will present an overview over the setup and hopefully first results.
