For many years, most of what we knew about pulsars and their winds came from observations of the Crab Nebula. We grouped the rest of the population into crude categories and identified their overall properties, but lacked a detailed picture of the high-energy processes which govern the interaction of these sources with their environment. However, with the high resolution and sensitivity offered by the Chandra X-ray Observatory, things are rapidly changing. While the Crab is still our gold standard, a suite of new observations of pulsar wind nebulae have demonstrated the diversity with which pulsars can interact with their surroundings. Furthermore, these data have revealed some important recurring themes relating to the wind geometry and shock structure. In this talk I will review these recent results from Chandra, and will discuss the new insights into pulsar winds which these data provide.
