The subject of hadronic parity violation is in the midst of a renaissance. On the experimental side, this is evidenced by the long-awaited announcement of results from the 223 MeV pp scattering experiment at TRIUMF, the low energy polarized np radiative capture asymmetry experiment being mounted at LANSCE, the ^134Cs anapole moment measurement by the Colorado group, etc. On the theory side, there are also new developments with the application both of effective field theory methods as well as state of the art wavefunction calculations to such observables. The present state of the field, as well as an extrapolation into the future, will be described.
