A high-intensity ^37Ar neutrino source could be used to calibrate the ^7Be solar neutrino capture cross section of ^71Ga, ^127I, and other solar neutrino detectors. We propose to experimentally demonstrate the possibility of creating such a source. The technology of the production of ^37Ar neutrino source is based on the initial irradiation of a Ca-containing target in a high-flux fast breeder reactor. It further requires the extraction of the ^37Ar from this target, its subsequent purification, and finally encapsulation of the extracted argon in a source holder.
