The neutron-proton bremsstrahlung process (np arrow npγ) provides a unique and sensitive probe of meson exchange currents in the nucleon-nucleon interaction. The triply differential cross section for this process has been measured for the first time at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center. A liquid hydrogen target was exposed to the intense, pulsed neutron beam from the WNR facility, and the scattered neutrons and recoil protons were observed in coincidence in organic liquid or plastic and CsI(pure) detectors, respectively, at angles between 12^circ and 28^circ on opposite sides of the beam. The neutron energies were determined from time of flight and the proton energy from pulse height information; this allowed full kinematic reconstruction of each event. For each pair of neutron-proton angles, the angular distribution of the bremsstrahlung photons was deduced from the data. Results for the incident neutron range 100-300 MeV will be presented and compared with theoretical calculations.(V. R. Brown and J. Franklin, Phys. Rev. C 7), 1706 (1973); V.R.
