There appears to be in nature a symmetry between quarks and leptons, both of which come in three families and have the same weak interactions. This symmetry is clearly broken. Neutrino mixing has now been discovered from neutrino oscillations and is quite different from that of quarks. The possibility of finding CP violation in neutrino mixing is now being explored.
