We examined the structures of cyclotron resonant lines in a large-scaled atmosphere threaded by a dipole magnetic field. We found that the ratio of the centroid energies of the lines at the second harmonic and at the fundamental can be more than 2. This is mainly due to different values of the cross sections of cyclotron resonant scattering in each harmonic. Our calculations suggest that the effect of the dipole magnetic field could be confirmed by the variation of the ratio of these centroid energies. Our results also indicate that the 5keV absorption feature detected in the observed spectra of the Soft Gamma Repeater SGR 1806 - 20 is not due to an electron-cyclotron resonance.
