The uncertainties in the nuclear input data relevant for calculations of standard and non-standard primordial nucleosynthesis are discussed. It is shown how these uncertainties can affect the predictive power of such calculations, and those key nuclear reactions for which improved experimental data on the associated reaction rates is most needed are identified. Such experimental data can lead to more accurate discriminatory tests between the differing primordial nucleosynthesis scenarios.
