Observations of Comet Halley obtained in B, B-prime, V, and R with the 105-cm Schmidt telescope at Kiso Observatory between April 1985 and May 1986 are reported. The data are presented in brightness contour maps and profiles of brightness vs distance from the comet nucleus and briefly characterized. Features noted include a gradual change in the effective radius of the coma depending on heliocentric distance, larger-amplitude effective-radius fluctuations before perihelion than after, and an abrupt increase in B-prime brightness (attributed to an increase in CN molecular-gas density) on January 7, 1986.
