The paper presents result of the sensitivity calibration of olivine crystals from meteorites by U-238 nuclei on the Bevalak accelerator. An analysis of the data indicates that a previously observed group of ancient tracks 210 microns long was due to galactic cosmic nuclei of the Th-U group. The possibility of unambiguously identifying groups of anomalously extended tracks of cosmic nuclei 340-360 microns long is assessed.
