Four-colour uvby and H photometry has been obtained for 237 SAO stars, earlier than GO, in five areas containing high latitude molecular clouds. The observed areas are approximately centred on the following clouds: 1) L1642; 2) MBM21/22; 3) L134 (this area covers a complex which also contains L169, LI 780, and other high latitude clouds); 4) MBM45; and 5) MBM46/47/48. The results give V, b - y, m1, c1, and β on the standard system, with overall rms errors for one observation of one star of 0.m008, 0.m004, 0.m005, 0.m008, and 0.m010, respectively. interstellar medium: clouds: high latitude.
