The rate of collisions of planetesimals on the protoplanet are
calculated, accounting for the effect of solar gravity. The numerical
scheme is based on Hill's equations which approximately describe the
three-body problem. The collisional rate is summarized in terms of the
normalized eccentricity and inclination of relative motion.
