A previously unknown planetary nebula has been detected in the field of the galactic cluster NGC 6087. The central star shows a blue continuous spectrum without absorption features. Spectroscopic observations of the nebula are presented, which show it to be of a high excitation class. The nebula is very probably not a cluster member, but a background object.
