The properties of six galaxies with peculiar nuclei (NGC 1097, 1672, 1808, 2997, 5236, and 7552) are discussed on the basis of photographic and spectroscopic observations. The observational procedures are described, and the continuum energy distribution, emission lines, and equivalent widths of stronger absorption lines are listed for each galaxy. Isophotes of the nuclear regions and main bodies are analyzed, and it is found that the nuclear regions are composed of relatively normal nuclei surrounded by several large H II regions.
