An abstract and an outline of a paper on the Solar Ultraviolet Network (SUN), one of the core instruments of SIMURIS (Solar Interferometric Mission for Ultrahigh Resolution Imaging and Spectroscopy), is presented. An analysis of the instrument performance and tolerances was evaluated and its system layout considered. A thermal and vibration analysis was performed using the finite element method.
