The concept of an imaging Fourier Transform Spectrometer (FTS) polarimeter based on piezoelastic modulation and direct demodulation in partially masked Charge Coupled Devices (CCD's) is outlined. The currently operational FTS polarimeter at the McMath telescope as well as the detection scheme of the ETH polarimeter, based on partially masked CCD cameras, are outlined to illustrate its principle.
