It is noted that much remains to be discovered about the makeup of meteoroids, the distribution of the material within comets, and the mechanism of meteoroid production. What is more, the observational evidence used in making comet/meteor associations is far from complete. It is thought that since only a few fireball networks are operational today, ample opportunity exists for visual observers to participate in gathering information on the activity of theoretical meteor radiants, especially when faint meteors are involved. For this reason, a comprehensive listing of theoretical radiants from earth-orbit approaching comets is presented as an aid to those (especially visual) observers who seek to define further relationships between comets and meteors. The seasonal distribution of these theoretical radiants is discussed, with attention also given to non-meteor-producing comets.
