Spectropolarimetric observations of the nuclei of four Seyfert 2 galaxies (Mrk 477, Mrk 1210, NGC 7212, and Was 49b) are reported. Preliminary analysis shows clear evidence for broad components of H-alpha and H-beta emission lines in the polarized flux spectra of these objects. It is suggested that the polarization of the four objects arises from scattering of electron and/or dust clouds outside the obscured BLR, but within the NLR. The detection of the hidden Seyfert 1-type nuclei within these Seyfert 2 galaxies significantly increases the total number of known objects of this type, and supports the obscuration/reflection model of the unified Seyfert schemes.
