Nekhoroshev Theorem, Stability, Degenerate Systems

Scientific paper

We describe a numerical application of the Nekhoroshev theorem to
investigate the long-term stability of quasi-integrable systems. We
extend the results of a previous paper to a class of degenerate systems,
which are typical in celestial mechanics.
