Three years of photoelectric magnetic field measurements of the Ap star
HD4778 have been obtained. The magnetic field of the star varies from
+1400 G to -1100 G. When the field variations are combined with
previously published photometric and spectroscopic data, a unique
rotation period of 2.5616 d is found.
