We have performed a survey of binary pulsars and pulsars having period derivatives P < 10(-17) s s(-1) using the VLA. This survey, which was performed in the C configuration at wavelengths of 20 and 3.6 cm, was sensitive to both point and extended radio emission around these remarkable classes of pulsars. The preliminary analysis of these data have provided 3--sigma sensitivities of about 500 and 150 mu Jy/beam in the 20 and 3.6 cm bands, respectively. While five of the 12 pulsars observed were detected in the 20 cm band, only one shows evidence for a possible detection in the 3.6 cm band. These observations will provide upper-limits to the extended emission and on the spectral indices for these pulsars. The results of these observations will be presented and compared with previous observations and theoretical predictions.
