The as yet not adequately explored photoelectric lightcurves of five eclipsing binaries are reanalyzed, using Wood's (1972) model, and photometric elements significantly different from earlier ones are derived for each system while allowing a more consistent interpretation of the binaries studied. It is found that AD And, BH Dra, and HO Tel are normal, main sequence detached systems while V1182 Aql appears to have an uncommon, semi-detached configuration involving the more massive member in contact with its Roche lobe and a detached secondary. The B-type binary V337 Aql, composed of a lobe-filling, smaller and less massive secondary and a primary that is near contact, is likely to be in a post-mass-exchange stage.
