UBVRI data for 62 O and B stars in dusty H II regions and for nine field stars are presented. The data are used to investigate the reddening law in the range BVRI. For the field stars and the H II regions M8, M20, S5, S66, S67, the normal interstellar extinction law has been confirmed. However, in NGC 6334, NGC 6357 and M16 unusually high color excess ratios have been found: E(V-R)/E(B-V) and E(V-I)/E(B-V), indicating abnormal values of the ratio of total to selective extinction, R equals 3.8 for NGC 6334/6357 and R equals 4.0 for M16.
