We assume that the average gas motion in the innermost ~ 200pc of our galaxy can be reasonably well represented in an accretion disk model. In our picture, we use the molecular clouds in this region as tracers of the velocity field in the accretion disk. This allows us to determine the evolutionary status of the disk. We present time dependent numerical models for the disk and compare our solutions for the velocity field with observed (geocentric) radial velocities of the molecular clouds.
