Given the evidence for excess AGN's in paired galaxies, it is important to tie down triggering and fueling mechanisms of Seyferts. We present K-band observations of a set of Seyfert galaxies, chosen from Dahari's sample (Dahari, O. 1985, Ap.J. Suppl. 57, 643). Three galaxies are isolated and fourteen in pairs or groups. We look for some evidence connecting active nuclei and companions. We use K-band images, which are more foolproof probe of disturbances produced by interaction, since the old component observed is less affected by dust, and less hidden by recent star formation of scattered AGN light. We look for common features of Seyferts, and are particularly interested in the role of bars, since they ease the feeding of the ``monster" in the nucleus. We also use optical images of the galaxies to determine a kind of encounter, based on the survey of encounters (Howard et al. 1992, Ap.J. Suppl.). Afterwards, we compare optical and K-band images to determine 1. the frequency of bars, at each wavelength, 2. indicators of barredness, 3. distortions of disks, 4. radial surface brightness profiles. We find that approximately 50\ 21\ Amongst isolated Seyferts 1 out of 3 has a nuclear bar. Nuclear bars are concentrated to the central region, and are not so prominent. Their existence is inferred from the isophotes' position angles and ellipticities. Also, many of the isolated galaxies are less distorted at K-band. In the light of several numerical simulations, our results suggest that bar instabilities may be important during interactions and in fueling of AGN's.
