Conditions are found in compliance with which the centres of masses of absolute rigid bodies possessing arbitrary internal structure and external form can commit motion in the invariable plane. Necessary and sufficient conditions have been found for the existence of planar motions in the problem under study. An example is considered showing the possibility to realize the conditions found.
