Collision strengths in the L-S coupling scheme for electron impact excitation of 52 forbidden transitions in Ca XV from the states having configurations 1s2 2s2 2p2, 1s2 2s2 2p3, and 1s2 2p4 are calculated using configuration interaction wavefunctions in the R-matrix program. A wide energy range below 28.0 Ryd is used in the calculations, which show that the collision strengths exhibit a complex pattern of resonance structure in the entire threshold energy region for nearly all the transitions. All partial waves with L less than or equal to 9 are included in the calculations and the entire collision strength spectrum is averaged over a Maxwellian distribution of electron velocities to obtain the effective collision strengths. The results are presented for the wide temperature range of 5000-500,000 K suitable for astrophysical applications and are accurate to within 10 percent.
