We process the optical plasma bubble images observed by TIMED/GUVI during 2002-2003 by applying an image processing technique. The occurrence statistics of bubbles is examined by analyzing the 2-dimmensional bubble images that are projected to an apex height. The global distribution of bubbles observed by TIMED/GUVI is compared with that observed by ROCSAT-1, DMSP, and CHAMP satellites. We discuss the three dimensional characteristics such as shape, tilt and the hemispheric asymmetry of bubbles.
