It is shown for the winter of the northern hemisphere of the earth that the regions which characterize the strongest tropospheric depressions after the interaction of solar corpuscular streams with the magnetosphere coincide with the regions of the streams of the energetic particles. These particles are directed to the south of the latitudes occupied by the zone of the oval. The mean heights of the energetic particles is 200-300 km.
