Sunspots are shown to contain three resonant layers, namely the chromospheric resonator for slow magneto-acoustic waves and two subphotospheric resonators for slow and fast waves. The resonators are coupled to each other through the wave transformation. A qualitative model for combined oscillatory convection in sunspots is proposed. The proposed scheme is used to examine the 3- and 5-min oscillations and the bright dots in sunspots.
