A theoretical study is made of the spherically symmetric problem of the adiabatic motion of a gravitating ideal gas in the presence of a detonation wave (e.g., in a supernova). The detonation wave arises as the result of the nonuniform gravitational collapse of the gas at zero pressure or during the breakdown of the equilibrium position. A system of integrodifferential inequalities is constructed, determining the law of detonation-wave motion with respect to a known initial state of the gas. A number of self-similar problems are considered as examples.
