The recombination line enhancement of radio lines in H II regions with high emission measure (up to about 10,000,000 pc per 0.000001 cm) is calculated, using general expressions for recombination intensities and an allowance for Stark line-broadening effects. It is found that there exists a range of values of the principal quantum number n for which strongly enhanced recombination lines of hydrogen might be detectable. Numerical values for the enhancement and the characteristic line/continuum ratio are given in the form of curves representing the functions of n for several levels of electron density.
