The contribution of stimulated processes toward generating annihilation lines, and the closely related problem of producing an astrophysical gamma-ray laser (or 'grasar'), are considered in two papers. Here general equations are given for the dynamics of two-photon e(-) and e(+) pair annihilation, and simplified line-intensity equations are derived analogous to those for two-level systems with double-quantum transitions. The annihilation dynamics are investigated in an approximation where the particle density remains constant with time.
