Hydrogen hypersensitized and non hydrogen hypersensitized emulsions were compared. Results show that hydrogen hypersensitization increases the sensitivity for most of the emulsions when exposed for a long time. In so doing, it is possible to use nonastronomical emulsions, which can be kept properly and have a suitable resolving power, for astronomical purposes. Kodak 2415 and Soviet Pf-3 emulsions are suitable.
