Three additional (Petrov type I) metrics with parameter icons/Journals/Common/gamma" ALT="gamma" ALIGN="TOP"/> in the range 1icons/Journals/Common/leq" ALT="leq" ALIGN="TOP"/>2 (p = (icons/Journals/Common/gamma" ALT="gamma" ALIGN="TOP"/>-1)µ, icons/Journals/Common/gamma" ALT="gamma" ALIGN="TOP"/> = constant) are given to complement the restricted range (3/2)icons/Journals/Common/leq" ALT="leq" ALIGN="TOP"/>2 of a previous paper (Davidson W 1997 Class. Quantum Grav. 14 119), for a rigidly rotating, stationary, cylindrically symmetric, barotropic perfect fluid. These are for icons/Journals/Common/gamma" ALT="gamma" ALIGN="TOP"/> = (3/2), for 2(6+(3)1/2 )/11 (~1.41)<(3/2), and for 1<(4/3). As in the previous paper, the metrics are in terms of simple algebraic functions. The solutions are well behaved, free of singularity and with the pressure p and density µ, acceleration and spin, all finite and vanishing at radial infinity.
