Transient Phenomena: Moon, Transient Phenomena: Methods Of Observation

Most of the TLP (transient lunar phenomena) observed in the past decades have been interpreted on the basis of the analogy with the Earth's geology and environment. This led to a misinterpretation of the nature of TLP which attracted criticisms from many planetary scientists. In order to produce a useful work and to reduce observational errors, the serious lunar observer should be well based in lunar geology and should know very well the morphology and appearance of those lunar formations in which TLP are more frequently observed. A rigorous approach to the search for TLP based on the blink technique is therefore proposed.
