The abundances of 90,91,92,93,94Zr in the S stars R Cyg, V Cnc, and R Gem as reported by Zook (1978) are studied using the model of an exponential distribution of neutron exposures. The characteristic quantity, the average time integrated neutron flux τ0, was determined to be (0.075+0.083-0.029) 1027 neutrons per cm2. The neutron density was estimated to be smaller than ≡108 neutrons per cm3 due to the absence of any 96Zr abundance. Implications for the pulsed s-process model of Truran and Iben (1977) are discussed.
