In this paper, we computed the magnetic shear angles of 908 vector
magnetograms (311 active regions) from 1995 to 2000. We found that the
statistical distribution of the magnetic shear angles are fitted well by
Gaussian curves. And the predominant sign of the magnetic shear were
varied in a different phase of a solar cycle.
