A model of oscillations of solar and stellar flare emission based on a representation of the energy release region in the form of an equivalent LRC circuit is presented. The flare energy release is due to the dissipation of electric current in a partially ionized plasma in the magnetic field under nonsteady-state conditions. The nonlinear equation for the current oscillations in the LRC circuit is analyzed. This approach makes is possible to diagnose parameters of the flare region, specifically, to determine the flare plasma resistance, on the basis of observational data on pulsations.
