The possibility of the development of beam instabilities in a self-gravitating plasma consisting of two flows moving with respect to each other is considered. A dispersion equation is derived for the case of a two-component medium. A new branch of oscillations in a self-gravitating plasma is obtained. The stability of longitudinal waves excited by a beam in a self-gravitating plasma is studied. Maximum values of the instability increment are estimated.
