We investigate the angular correlations in Delta-T/T on scales of 10 arcmin to 2 deg, which are specific for acoustic modes of perturbations in cosmic plasma before recombination. The behavior of the microwave background correlation function on scales Theta = Thetab = 40 arcmin (and 2 Thetab) allows us to determine the possible existence of these modes and to evaluate the amount of baryons in the universe and the parameter Omega. We propose a special method for filtering of these features in the observational data.
