We outline the advantage of robotic telescopes to support space
missions. In particular we describe BOOTES and ROBTEL, two robotic
monitoring systems located in Spain. Modern control systems allow
moreover a complete automation of the observing procedures and fast
communication lines permit the remote control of the acquired data.
