With a 50ksec ACIS-S observation of Her X-1, we will be able to measure the PSF/wing profile of the HRMA within energy bands of 500eV and annuli with widths of (delta theta)/theta=0.1 to better than 10% statistics for E<5keV. Calculations indicate that Her X-1 should have an unpiled up count rate of approximately 340 cts/s and a piled up count rate of 5 cts/s. Thus, telemetry will not saturate and we can observe Her X-1 in VF mode to take advantage of the CTI corrector and background cleaning algorithm.
