It is shown that the kinetics of gravitational-perturbation interaction with collisionless particles (neutrinos) during the ultrarelativistic stage in the expansion of the universe results in a behavior of long-wave gravitational perturbations that is qualitatively different than that obtained by Lifshits (1946), if the energy density of the collisionless particles amounts to more than 5/32 of the total energy density. Most importantly, the long-wave asymptotic behavior in the present case is found to be oscillatory. The asymptotic behavior of high-frequency perturbations in an isotropic universe is also determined, by taking into account the effect of collisionless particles on gas perturbations.
