Spectroscopic observations of the Seyfert galaxy Mrk 335 are presented. The density and mass of the gas, its effective velocity, and kinetic energy, and the characteristic radius of the forbidden-line emission zone are estimated from the forbidden O III line intensities. The mass of the central body and the luminosity within the 0.36-3.5 micron wavelength interval are determined.
